A microgrid formation-based restoration model for resilient distribution systems using distributed energy resources and demand response programs

In recent years, resilience enhancement of electricity distribution systems has attracted much attention due to the significant rise in high-impact rare (HR) natural event outages. The performance post-event restoration after an HR is effective measure for a resilient network. this paper, multi-objective model presented improving first objective function, load shedding process minimized. As second cost minimized which contradicts function. Microgrid (MG) formation, distributed energy resources (DERs), and demand response (DR) programs are employed create necessary flexibility network restoration. proposed model, DERs include fossil-fueled generators, renewable wind-based PV units, storage system while transferable, curtailable, shiftable loads. solved using ɛ-constraint method optimal solution selected fuzzy satisfying method. Finally, was successfully examined on 37-bus 118-bus networks. Numerical results verified efficacy as well.
